Meet Our Instructors
Carlos David Oliveira is a 5th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, under famed BJJ instructor and UFC veteran Roberto Traven.
David is a 8-time Brazilian state champion, 3-time Brazilian regional BJJ/grappling champion, 5-time NAGA champion, and a Grapplers Quest champion. He is also a former professional MMA fighter, all his victories came by way of submission.
As an instructor, he is one of the most open, friendly and approachable teachers in martial arts. Through his technical explanation, method of coaching, and encouraging attitude he has developed countless new students into top BJJ practitioners.
Pedro de Carvalho is a Marine instructor, purple belt fourth stripe in Brazilian jiujitsu and a former Brazilian Junior’s champion. Has been practicing jiujitsu in the early nine’s with master Paulo Mauricio Strauch and had to stop to train when his family move from Rio de Janeiro. Pedro had his reencounter with jiujitsu with Professor David and is been improving and developing his skills since then!
Alex de Oliveira, ranked #6 in his division in WBO. Alex start his career as one of the best amateur prospects from Brazil, Alex was member of the Brazilian Olympic team for over 10 years, became Brazilian amateur champion, South American silver medalist, pan American silver medalist and became professional. As a professional boxer De Oliveira won the national title in Brasil, became sul American champion and an undefeated Latin Champion for over 6 years.
Buck Albritton is a Black Belt in Kickboxing/Karate ACE Personal Trainer Certified has trained in various Kickboxing and Martial Arts styles for decades. As a Black Belt and certified Personal Trainer, he teaches fighting skills with a focus on improving overall fitness!
